Saturn in Aquarius
Saturn's focus becomes a powerful force
for social transformation through the alignment with Pluto beginning in 2020.
Saturn spends 2 1/2 – 3 years in each sign as it travels through the constellations. With Saturn’s focus on accountability and taking responsibility through self-discipline and transparency, the time spent in each sign brings an audit of accountability of words and actions. When Saturn connects with another planet, there is an additional audit that goes on with the elements that are key for other planetary connections.
Saturn has been in Capricorn since December 2017 and transitions out of Capricorn and into Aquarius from March 2020 to July 2020. Saturn shifts back into Capricorn early July 2020 to go back over accountability issues with a new-found Aquarius perspective This creates a year of great transformation as Saturn brings completion to the Capricorn focus and at the same time begins to open the Aquarius elements as the new focus of accountability encompasses a larger scope.
Looking to a deeper level we can see the transitions of 2020 and how Saturn is paving the way for the Aquarius Era.
Pluto in Capricorn 2008 – 2023
Saturn in Capricorn 2017 – 2020
Saturn in Aquarius 2020 – 2023
Pluto in Aquarius 2023 - 2043
Saturn and Pluto: The planetary placements of Saturn and Pluto are important to understand as we are in the midst of a great transformation of Saturn’s accountability and Pluto’s use or misuse of power. Pluto entered into Capricorn, ruling business, power positions, career and financial dealings in 2008, which opened the door for the positions of power to be used according to the drive and goals. Saturn began it’s audit of this process in December 2017 and began collecting information throughout its time of catching up to Pluto.
Saturn connection with Pluto: On January 12, 2020, Saturn connected with Pluto at the same degree and began to provide the transparency and accountability issues from the collection efforts. As Saturn has passed Pluto and emerged in front on Pluto, Saturn’s focus on accountability has taken the precedence through bringing transparency to the forefront.
Saturn moving ahead of Pluto: Saturn’s journey ahead of Pluto brings accountability first as the ability to use Pluto’s blustering power plays will no longer have the free reign as before. The image of people who have used the power plays will no longer have the same results as Saturn brings a new image that supersedes the image with the collection of Saturn’s findings and accountability results. Saturn’s movement in Capricorn has brought many misuses to the surface while Saturn is ahead of Pluto – since January 2020. Saturn will shift into Aquarius for a short time (March – July 2020) and then transition back into Capricorn. During Saturn’s last swing through Capricorn, many of the misuses will have surfaced and require accountability.
Saturn in Aquarius: Saturn shifts into Aquarius from March 2020 to early July 2020 and has brought forward many important and critical issues of the accountability process and how our sense of responsibility impacts others as Aquarius expands our concepts to view situations from a larger scope. Aquarius represents the global community as well as the world of others and the fact that we have to align our accountability with fairness, right-for-all actions, and that we are together in our God-given rights to be seen as a living individual.
Saturn spanning Capricorn and Aquarius: While Saturn has had a short opening in Aquarius, the accountability elements collected while Saturn was in Capricorn brings issues of use or misuse of power into a larger scope and to review the use of Pluto’s span of time in Capricorn since 2008 and how the motives and ethics were used and the impact on fairness and right-for-all actions viewed in justice.
Saturn returning back into Capricorn: July 2020 to December 2020 will complete the accountability process, as Saturn’s approach to discipline as the taskmaster requires strict adherence to right action through transparency and responsibility. Saturn’s added focus to bring the larger Aquarius scope of fairness, justice and right-for-all actions into accountability will prove to be the power behind many shifts in business positions and authoritarian roles. Transparency will bring forward many actions that were used with Saturn in Capricorn focus from December 2017 and will create the movement up or down accordingly. From July to December, major shifts in career, business and financial dealings will have a high impact showing our alignment and true intentions.
Saturn turning direct in Capricorn: September to December 2020 will bring for the new team and group of people that have passed through the accountability focus of Saturn and have the earmarks of those with potential for Saturn in Aquarius leadership roles. Saturn turns direct on September 28th, which accentuates the final swing through Capricorn. From September 28th major information will come forward as the accountability audits are put onto the table for all to see. From this point forward through mid December, the accountability audits will emerge. The Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio from October 13th through November 3rd brings transparency of information to the surface. Saturn takes all of this information to spotlight during the transitions needed, finishing the journey in Capricorn. The information and audit will prompt leadership positions to change and shift. Revised perspective once Mercury turns direct on November 3rd will bring key aspects that will turn the gears of transition; Mars turning direct on November 13th, New Moon on November 14th at 23 Scorpio, followed by a powerful Lunar Eclipse on November 30th at 8 Sagittarius/8 Gemini and the Solar Eclipse on December 14th at 23 Sagittarius that opens the curtains to the New Age of Aquarius. As Saturn moves out of Capricorn a renewed focus will determine those who need to be put into leadership roles to begin the important Saturn in Aquarius transitions on December 19th.
Saturn moving into Aquarius and Jupiter moving into Aquarius: December 19, 2020 begins paving the way for the Aquarius Age that will ultimately have Pluto following from 2023 to 2043. With Saturn laying down the high accountability requirements of Aquarius, only those who can lead with fairness, justice and right-for-all decisions that are simultaneously followed for themselves, will be moving into key leadership positions. Saturn sets the stage for these requirements of transparency and accountability to be followed. Saturn has three years in Aquarius and only those who are capable of truly following the tall leadership demands of ethics and motives will be allowed to shift to Pluto’s positions of true leadership when Pluto moves into Aquarius for a short stint in 2023, but provides the true source of leadership from 2024 to 2043.
